FANS FEATURE: Reading Vs Leeds!

‘Fans Feature’ is a new article we hope to upload at least twice a week here at the EFL Championship Blog, where we will interview two fans about their sides upcoming fixture. Todays article is all about the upcoming game that could have a huge impact on deciding who wins the race for promotion from within the play offs. 4th placed Leeds take on 5th placed Reading in Saturdays evening kick off at the Madejski stadium.

1) Who has been your most influential player this season?

For me, Ali Al Habsi by far. He’s a great shot stopper and even though he has made a few fumbles this season he’s kept us in a lot of games.

2) How confident are you about Reading securing promotion this season?

I’d like to say pretty confident, however our track record in the play-offs isn’t the best so we will just have to hope for the best.

3) If you could choose the starting eleven for Saturdays match, who would you pick?

Al Habsi, Gunter, McShane, Oxford, Moore, Evans, Swift, Obita, Kelly, Williams, Kermorgant

4) What are your score predictions for the match?

I’m predicting a close game, with a 2-1 Royals victory.

1. Who has been your most influential player this season?

It has to be Chris Wood, top goal scorer in the league so far and probably the most consistent striker in the league. Always there when you need him and can really lift the team. A completely different player from last season.

2) How confident are you with your sides chances of securing promotion?

I’m very confident we will get the play offs, however some teams are looking very good this year in the likes of Sheffield Wednesday and Huddersfield. promotion is going to be a tough ask but you should always be positive and hopefully we will be in the Premier League next season!

3) Who would you choose in the starting eleven for Saturday if you could?

Green, Berardi, Bartley, Jansson, Taylor, Bridcutt, Vieira, Hernandez, Pedraza, Sacko, Wood

4) What are your score predictions for Saturdays game?

I’m going with 1-3 to Leeds, Wood with a brace and Hernandez with the other for us.
